Still in Palouse

Tom has been busy! If I inquire about a room for the night or food he responds with, "There is a great shot here. I don't want to miss the light. I will call you back."

Enjoy these as I did.

Tom usually asks which image is my favorite. Talk about pressure!!!!  LOL.  The one below is high on my list.

The day was overcast, not the best light for shooting rolling hills, shadows (contrast) and a patchwork of color. One of the nice things about the way Tom is photographing Palouse is that he is on his own, driving down roads random roads, looking for opportunities and meeting wonderful people. Today he drove by an exquisite garden, pulled over and noticed the lady who tended the garden. She invited him to come on in and told him to come by any time to take more photos. He is working on them tonight, but here is a preview.

I expect more garden shots tomorrow, more fields and just . . . . well, more good stuff!!!

Thanks for your comments and the numerous emails that I have forwarded on to Tom.

Tomorrow morning I am leaving for Arches National Park. This should be an interesting blog. . . if I can keep up with Tom.
