Red Canyon

Greg and Ann just came back from a four day trip to Southern Utah.  They just sent me the photos taken at Red Canyon where they hiked before heading on up to Kodachrome State Park (Greg promised more photos to follow).  They mentioned there are many hiking trails and they barely scratched the surface of what is there to photograph and hike.  Enjoy the photos.

Greg wrote, "We stopped in Hatch Utah @ the Adobe Cafe. Had the best turkey sandwich I have ever had. Highly recommend this cafe."

A big thank you for both Greg and Ann.  I have been to Red Canyon and these photos brought back great memories.  Just curious, Ann, where is Lefty?

AZ Desert Sonoran Museum

Four of my dearest friends went to the AZ Desert Sonoran Museum and generously shared their photos.  I smile and enjoy each of them.  As I was not with them, I can gleam a sense of their day from the photos they took. I hope at least one of them had a Prickly Pear Margarita for me.

Great Horned Owl

This really is its color.

Gorgeous view of the Sonoran Desert from the trail.

Nesting Hummer

And the REAL cactus is??  made me smile!

A very special thanks to my dear friends who shared their photos of one of my favorite places.  Life is darn good when you have friends such as these.

Sedona

Tom spent a couple of days roaming around Sedona, looking for great locations and memorable shots.  I missed going with him so cannot offer much dialogue to go with these photos.  Yet, I feel like I was walking along, knowing him well enough to feel a part of his trip.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

Some of these images have quite a different perspective to them.  Tom said he did quite a bit of hiking.  Nothing like going up as you work your composition!!!  Thanks Tom.
